NEW tablename

The syntax above creates a new table with no cells so the table is absolutely null. Four characters are prohibited, these are the following: '.', '=', '[', ']'.

  • tablename: The name of the new table with full path.

Practical example

Command:

NEW table01

Output:

NEWTABLE :: ROOT => TABLE01



Practical example (with prohibited char)

Command:

NEW tab=le

Output:

NEWTABLE :: RESERVED CHARACTERS :: ". = [ ]" ::TAB=LE

You can see that the expression above will not excecute because of the prohibited char in the name of the table.
